Explanation
* This contract is part of an ongoing program to provide repairs and improvements to existing storm drainage systems and construction of new storm drainage systems.
* Each request is investigated and prioritized based on the severity of potential public/private property flooding and/or property damage.
* The necessary repairs for each project are designed and a work order prepared.
* Contract B will address failing storm drainage systems in the following locations:
* 4600 The Plaza (Council District 1),
* 333 East Trade Street (Council District 1),
* 5743 Barrington Drive (Council District 5),
* 3320 Fortis Lane (Council District 5),
* 216 Burleigh Street (Council District 6),
* 620 Edgemont Road (Council District 6), and
* 2130 Valencia Terrace (Council District 6).
* Work will also include grading, drainage, sidewalks, curb and gutter, and water mains and services to existing infrastructure that increases safety and provides maintenance upgrades to roads.
* On April 18, 2018, the City issued an Invitation to Bid for Collective Storm Drainage Improvement Projects Series B; four bids were received from interested service providers.
* Onsite Development, LLC was selected as the lowest responsive, responsible bidder.
* These projects are anticipated to be complete by end of first quarter 2019.
