Explanation
• In January 2024, the Mayor established a Faith-Based Development Initiative (FBDI) to facilitate collaboration across a broad range of partners including faith-based organizations, affordable housing developers, philanthropic organizations and housing services providers to help expand affordable housing opportunities and housing stability for the city’s residents. The initiative is led by Council member Mayfield in collaboration with the Housing & Neighborhood Services Department. The Committee will receive an overview of the FBDI, including plans to host a faith-based summit this Spring.
