Explanation
§ On June 14, 2006, City Council approved a five-year contract with New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC to lease adjacent land and attach telecommunications antennas on the Airport’s rotating beacon tower.
§ City Council has previously approved two, five-year lease extensions dated February 1, 2011, and November 12, 2015.
§ New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC’s existing lease expired on October 31, 2021.
§ This amendment will extend the lease term five years, beginning November 1, 2021.
§ Annual rent is $58,000 with three percent annual escalations.
§ The total five-year lease value is $307,929.90.
§ This activity is occurring on airport property located in Council District 3.

Funding: Revenue will be deposited into Aviation’s Operating Fund
