Explanation
§ The City owns a warehouse facility located at 3101 Piper Lane that consists of 16,869 square feet of office and 21,815 square feet of warehouse.
§ Host International, Inc. (Host) desires to lease this facility from the City to consolidate existing leases at the Airport in this facility to streamline its operations. The facility will accommodate anticipated future growth.
§ Host will redirect many of its deliveries to this facility which will reduce traffic congestion at the terminal loading dock and enhance security.
§ The annual facility rent, ground rent, and airport services fees for the facility are estimated to be $296,490.
§ The term of this lease runs concurrently with Host’s food and beverage concession agreement with the City.
§ This activity is occurring on the Airport property located in Council District 3.

Funding: Revenue from the lease agreement will be deposited within Aviation’s Operating Budget.
