Explanation
§ This developer agreement accomplishes city goals and reduces redundant work in the area by providing $56,000 to cover the costs of Charlotte Water constructing sidewalk and road side drainage and making landscaping improvements along Glenkirk Road (Council District 6).
§ Charlotte Water is already restoring the area as part of the Little Sugar Creek Tributary to Fairview Road Sanitary Sewer Improvements project. In lieu of constructing improvements required by the city, Parkstone South, LLC is contributing funds, equivalent to the cost of the improvements, for Charlotte Water to construct the improvements.
§ The developer’s contribution is based on cost estimates prepared by Planning, Design, and Development.
