* The action removes land from public right-of-way status and attaches it to the adjacent property.

Right-of-Way to be Abandoned
The portion of Tuckaseegee Road to be abandoned is located north of Wilkinson Blvd, east of I-485 and south of I-85.

Reason
This request is in direct relationship to the Quattro Project rezoning petition #2018-025 for I-2 & I-2 (CD) zoning, which was approved by City Council on June 18, 2018. The closing of a portion of Tuckaseegee Road relinquishes remnant right-of-way so that new street networks can be created in order to accommodate the Quattro Project's transportation and land-use goals.

Notification
As part of the City's notification process, and in compliance with North Carolina General Statute 160A-299, the Charlotte Department of Transportation submitted this abandonment petition for review by the public and City Departments.
