Explanation 
§                     The existing roof will be removed and a new roof, gutters and downspouts will be installed at Fire Station 16, located at 6623 Park South Drive.
§                     The existing roof for Station 16 was installed in 1992 and had a 20 year warranty, and is leaking.
§                     On April 28, 2017, the City issued an Invitation to Bid; four bids were received from interested service providers.
§                     Tecta America Carolinas, LLC was selected as the lowest responsive, responsible bidder.
§                     The project is anticipated to be complete by fourth quarter 2017.

Construction contracts estimated to be less than $300,000 are informal and are exempt from the goal setting process (Part A: Section 3.1 of the Charlotte Business INClusion Policy).
