A. Authorize the City Manager to close out a grant in the amount of $400,000 with the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality for American Rescue Plan Act funds for the Lead and Copper Rule Revision project, and
B. Accept the summary provided.

Explanation
§ This grant allowed Charlotte Water to develop a database of water services line types within Charlotte Water’s service area, utilizing science-based testing protocols.
§ Charlotte Water has worked to identify and document the materials of water service lines throughout the community in support of compliance with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR) and Lead and Copper Rule Improvements (LCRI).
§ The Final Report has been presented to Council in the attached Summary.
§ Awarded funds will be expended by December 2026.
