Explanation
This contract will provide construction services for water main replacement projects at ten project sites across the Charlotte Water service area:
Guilford Road Water Main Replacement, located in Council District 1;
Margate Avenue and Windham Place Water Main Replacement, located in Council District 1;
Bramble, Greenview, Westridge, Allenbrook, and Woodway Water Main Replacement, located in Council District 2;
Bucknell Place Water Main Replacement, located in Council District 6;
1300-1400 Block of Ferncliff Road Water Main Replacement, located in Council District 6;
1600 Block of Ferncliff Road Water Main Replacement, located in Council District 6;
Westminster Place Water Main Replacement, located in Council District 6;
Starbrook Drive and Wrentree Drive Water Main Replacement, located in Council District 6;
Sterling Road Water Main Replacement, located in Council District 6; and
Hillcrest Drive Water Main Replacement, located in Town of Huntersville.
On June 26, 2026, the city issued an Invitation to Bid; six bids were received.
Fuller & Co. Construction, LLC was selected as the lowest responsive, responsible bidder.
The project is anticipated to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2027.
