Explanation
General Services Landscape Management is responsible for providing median maintenance services throughout the city.
These contracts will provide routine and on-call maintenance of median landscaping, including turf, ornamental trees, shrubs, and perennials, as well as mulch replacement and the removal of trash, debris, storm debris, and leaves across five Landscape Management service areas (North A, North B, East C, South B, and South E) in Council Districts 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, and 7.
On August 26, 2026, the city issued a Request for Proposals (RFP); seven responses were received.
The selected companies best meets the city’s needs in terms of qualifications, experience, cost, and responsiveness to RFP requirements.
At renewal, potential price adjustments may be considered based on legitimate and justified increases in the cost of doing business. The ability to consider price adjustments also allows the city to accept decreases, if warranted.
Annual expenditures are estimated to be $452,907.
