Explanation
The city has received a recommendation from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Historic Landmarks Commission (HLC) to amend the May 17, 1976, ordinance designating the Liddell-McNinch House as a local historic landmark.
Public hearings are required prior to City Council action on designation requests.
The Liddell-McNinch House is located at 511 North Church Street in Council District 2.
The recommended amendment to the existing designation of this property could significantly contribute to its long-term preservation.
