Explanation
§ In January 2026, the mayor referred a review of the Solid Waste Services Ordinance to the Housing Committee to review and recommend technical updates or enhancements needed to clarify or modernize the ordinance. The ordinance, which governs city-provided solid waste services - including trash, recycling, yard waste, and bulky item collection - was last updated in 2017. Staff will introduce the referral and present recommendations for Committee discussion.
