Explanation

•                     The Community Assistance: Respond, Engage, and Support (CARES) Team launched in December 2022, as a recommendation from the 2020 SAFE Charlotte Plan. The team provides civilian clinicians to respond to low-level calls for service. Staff will share information and updates about the initial program launch.
