Explanation
§ Notification of Property Tax and Business Privilege License Tax refunds due to clerical or assessor error are provided to the City by Mecklenburg County.
Pearson Review Update
§ In accordance with the ordinance approved by the City Council on January 25, 2016, and the North Carolina law, a list of refunds, which have been paid since the last City Council Business Meeting as a result of the Pearson Review, is available at the City Clerk’s Office.
§ The amount of Pearson Review refunds paid since the last City Council Business Agenda Meeting on December 14, 2015, totaled $783,450.96.
