Explanation

§                     Aviation requires on-call general contractors for small maintenance projects that do not meet the threshold for standalone construction contracts. Work involves small-scale demolition, repair, and modification of Aviation facilities.

§                     On March 3, 2026, the city issued an Invitation to Bid (ITB); five responses were received.

§                     The companies selected best meet the city’s needs in terms of qualifications, experience, cost, and responsiveness to ITB requirements.

§                     Annual aggregate expenditures are estimated to be $450,000.
