Explanation

§                     Storm Water Services is using consultant engineers to provide design services for minor storm drainage projects throughout the city.

§                     These contracts will provide engineering analysis and design services for projects ranging from single property repairs to area-based drainage solutions.

§                     On March 27, 2024, the city issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQ); nine proposals were received.

§                     The firms selected are the best qualified to meet the city’s needs on the basis of demonstrated competence and qualification of professional services in response to the RFQ requirements.

§                     Firms will be selected for each individual project based on team size, availability, and experience.

§                     wal, potential price adjustments may be considered based on legitimate and justified increases in the cost of doing business. The ability to consider price adjustments also allows the city to accept decreases, if warranted.

§                     Annual expenditures are estimated to be $6,500,000.
