Violence Advisory Board

The Domestic Violence Advisory Board (DVAB) is the official citizen advisory commission on domestic violence
issues. Members are appointed by and report to Charlotte City Council and the Board of County
Commissioners. DVAB is administratively aligned with Council’s Public Safety Committee. Committee will
receive an update on DVAB’s key priorities.
