Explanation

§                     Recommendations from the 2020 Citizen Advisory Committee of Governance (CACG) that remain pending include:

-                     Moving from Two-Year terms to Four-Year terms,

-                     Implementing Staggered Elections, and

-                     Redistricting to add an 8th District, keeping 11 Representatives but move from four At-Large Representatives to three At-Large Representatives to add 8^th District Representative.

§                     City Attorney’s Office will provide overview of options and considerations.

Action Requested: Vote on next steps to recommend to full Council.
