Explanation
* This contract is part of an ongoing program to provide pedestrian safety improvements including accessible ramps, sidewalks, refuge islands, intersection improvements, pedestrian hybrid beacons, pavement markings, and traffic signals throughout Charlotte.
* On May 18, 2020, the city issued an Invitation to Bid; six bids were received.
* Nassiri Development, LLC was selected as the lowest responsive, responsible bidder.
* The contract is anticipated to be complete by fourth quarter 2022.
