Explanation
§ This project will install supplemental steel guardrails, as safety enhancements, on six levels at the open-air stair towers in the Rental Car Facility/Hourly Deck.
§ On May 1, 2018, the City issued an Invitation to Bid; one bid was received.
§ Kelby Construction, Inc. was selected as the lowest responsive, responsible bidder.
§ This project is anticipated to be complete by first quarter 2019.
§ This activity is occurring on airport property, Council District 3.

No subcontracting goals were established because there are no opportunities (Part C: Section 2.1(a) of the Charlotte Business INClusion Policy).
