Explanation
• On April 5, 2024, the Mayor referred an Affordable Housing policy item to the Committee concerning balancing multiple affordable housing priorities to more strategically align community needs to available city resources. This topic was introduced to the Committee at the June meeting. Since June, a City Council work group has been meeting with staff to develop proposed recommendations for creating investment goals across affordable housing categories to help direct city housing investments of local funding sources. The Committee will receive the proposed draft recommendations for review, discussion and consideration.
